Our aims are to support the well being of the children in the care of the hospital, to provide help to their parents or guardians and to provide assistance or amenities to the hospital

About us

The Guild of Friends of the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children

The Guild of Friends was inaugurated in July 1948. Unlike other charities all our committee members are voluntary and we have very few administrative costs. This means that every penny you donate to us, and all profit from fundraising events, goes towards helping the children and their families.

The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children

The Bristol Royal Hospital for Children celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2016. It moved in 2001 to the current state-of-the-art, and purpose-built premises and is a centre of excellence, recognized internationally for its high level of expertise and ground breaking paediatric treatment. Children from across the South West of England receive care here and this can entail whole families having to be far away from home whilst their sick child is being treated.
